Our Fabrication Services
Our structural steel fits, period. When the iron gets hung, proper fit-up is the key to meeting your project’s completion schedule. Whether we hang it ourselves or fabricate and deliver it to your erector, our structural steel is fabricated per the AISC Code of Standard Practice and welded by AWS D1.1 Certified Welders.
We can fabricate directly from your drawings or we can offer you our mechanical design services featuring continually updated 3D modeling software. From accurate assembly and detail drawings, most sizing, holes, and slots are done by CNC-controlled cutting equipment.
When your fabrication will be subject to corrosion, temperature extremes, or sanitation requirements, stainless steels and specialized stainless steel alloys are the materials most often specified.
Penn-American fabricates and installs dust collection and ventilation systems in all shapes, sizes, types, and configurations. Our bag-houses, plenums, bin vents, hoppers, manifolds, cyclones, and industrial ductwork collect air pollutants and debris from foundry dust, sand, saw dust, glass particles, quarry and mining dust, and grain processing.
Penn-American has the equipment, manpower, and experience to install all that we fabricate. We also install machinery and systems that have been supplied by specialized manufacturers.
We can fabricate your material handling systems framework, supports, hangers, access platforms, etc. from carbon or stainless steel. You can drop ship your purchased parts to our facility for assembly or you can choose to have us purchase them for you.
